Maskless Lithography’s New Digital Imaging (DI) Products Accepted into Innovative Technology Center at IPC Apex Expo 2011
SAN JOSE, Calif., April 5, 2011 – Maskless Lithography, Inc., will showcase its new MLI-3000™ digital, direct-write imaging (DI) product at the upcoming IPC/APEX Expo™ in Las Vegas April 12-14.
Reflecting the “breakthrough” status of the technology, Maskless Lithography is one of only ten companies to be accepted into the IPC APEX Expo Innovation Technology Center where its new MLI-3000 product family will be featured throughout the show. A review board of industry experts assessed the top products in the show. The products were selected based on their representation of a new or emerging technology of significant value and relevance to the electronics manufacturing industry.
“We are delighted to have been chosen among such great companies,” commented Dr. William Elder, president and CEO, Maskless Lithography. “As more customers, both in Asia and North America, adopt our new direct-write imaging (DI) products they are quickly witnessing first hand the enormous cost of ownership (COO) and performance benefits as well as our mantra of delivering digital imaging at production speeds™.”
Direct-write imaging technology is fast becoming the lithography of choice as the industry moves from contact printing, which is particularly limiting as the PCB industry approaches 50-micron feature sizes.
